Kalelagun, nahi ez den bakardadea arintzeko proiektua, EHUko Arkitektura Saileko CAVIAR ikerketa-taldeak ADINBERRIren eta Gipuzkoako Foru Aldundiaren laguntzarekin garatua, Tabakaleran Zientzia Astearen esparruan egin den harreman-espazioak elkarrekin sortzeko tailerraren oinarrizko tresna izan da.

The Kalelagun project to mitigate unwanted loneliness, developed by the CAVIAR Research Group of the Department of Architecture of the UPV/EHU with the support of ADINBERRI and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, has been the basic tool of the workshop on co-creation of spaces for relationships held in Tabakalera within the framework of the Science Week (Zientzia Astea). ADINBERRI's head of innovation, Ainhoa Becerra, has been present at the activity in the company of experts from CAVIAR, among whom it is worth highlighting Olatz Irulegi, director of the Department of Architecture of the UPV/EHU.

The Kalelagun research project is part of Gipuzkoa's strategy against unwanted loneliness 'HARIAK', and is a tool aimed at defining a series of guidelines for the design of public spaces in order to alleviate the perception of loneliness and encourage the enjoyment of them.

The aim of this initiative is twofold: to raise awareness in society about the problem of unwanted loneliness (and the capacity of spaces to mitigate it) and to collectively transform a given space, obtaining a tangible result.

The people participating in the special workshop called 'Co-creating spaces for relationships' have been able to co-design a specific public space, with the aim of making it more vital, diverse and friendly. To do this, the activity has included several models of real squares to be modified and a toolbox made up of actions, elements and technologies to be applied in the space for its redesign.
